As the weather warms up and the spring break crowds start to dissipate, the Spring Wine Walk is a fantastic way to spend a beautiful spring Saturday afternoon in Downtown Daytona Beach. Hosted on April 29th from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Riverfront Shops, attendees can stroll through unique shops and restaurants, enjoying live music and fine red and white wines from participating merchants. 10th Annual Beach Bike Bar Crawl
Ocean Deck
The 10th Annual Beach Bike Bar Crawl is a perfect opportunity to get out for a great cause. The event aims to raise funds for the local Veteran’s Support Fund while allowing participants to explore Daytona Beach’s beach bars. Registration starts at 8:30 AM at Ocean Deck, with the crawl starting at 10 AM. Participants receive an event t-shirt and raffle tickets for prizes with a $20 registration fee. Madam Butterfly (in Italian Madama Butterfly) is one of opera’s most enduring tales of unrequited love. The Daytona Beach Downtown Farmers’ Market moved one block away from its former home on City Island to its new location on Magnolia Avenue, a new venue known as Market@Magnolia, between Beach Street and Palmetto Avenue.

Downtown Daytona Beach, Beach Street
Daytona’s downtown Irish pub, McK’s Tavern, has celebrated St. Paddy’s Day with all the traditional Irish fare for 25 years. Expanding on their long-standing traditional Irish celebration, Beach Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between International Speedway Boulevard and Orange Avenue to accommodate the block party. Eau Gallie Art Festival 2021 –Saturday, November 20th – Sunday, November 21st, 10 AM – 5 PM
Eau Gallie Fine Art Festival is an extraordinary experience for the entire family. The community-oriented event features artists. All along Highland Avenue and St. Clair St., artists work en plein air. ‘Plein air’ is a term derived from the French phrase en plein air, which literally means “in the open air.” What makes ArtWorks unique is that all artists are encouraged to demonstrate during the two-day festival. Space Coast Turkey Trot 5K – November 25 @ 7:30 am – 9:30 am
Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving Day at the Front Street Civic Center at the base of the Melbourne Causeway on Rt. 192. Make it a family tradition! This race benefits WestShore Jr/Sr High PTA and Fantastic 4-H. Please note – Due to the construction of the railway bridge above Melbourne Avenue, the City of Melbourne prohibited the course on Melbourne Avenue this year. Therefore, the 5K will go over the causeway and back and unfortunately, there will not be a 10K this year.

Museum of Arts & Sciences American Muscle Car Show
The muscle car is one of the most significant innovations ever created by American vehicle manufacturers. Throughout their over 70-year history, starting in the late 1940s and continuing into today, muscle cars have cemented their place as a central piece of American culture. Join us in the front parking lot at the Museum of Arts & Sciences for an amazing display of American Muscle in the form of vintage cars and trucks. DJ Frank Roberts will be spinning music from the 50s and 60s while you hob knob among some of America’s greatest road machines. Admission: Muscle Car Show is free to the public. Families, friends, pets – put on your Halloween costumes for free digital portraits by a professional photographer at the Downtown Farmers’ Market’s Fall Festival! Daytona Tortugas host the Palm Beach Cardinals August 17 – 22

Covid safety plan: In accordance with an Event Sponsorship Agreement with DOA, CDC recommendations will be implemented throughout the event. The event will take place outdoors on Beach Street’s new beautiful sidewalks. Streets will be open to traffic. There will be two ticket tents, one on each end of Beach Street. The lines will be socially distanced. All staff will be required to wear gloves, masks and have disinfectant available. Each participating merchant and vendor will be required to enforce social distancing rules, wear masks and gloves, and have a hand sanitizer station available. Staff will also conduct a health assessment before vendor set-up, and vendor locations will be spaced a minimum of 6 ft apart. Vendors will wear gloves or use hand sanitizer before and after handling money.
Ticket purchasers will be advised of the Event Safety Plan above and asked to observe CDC guidelines as follows:
- Masks are required when not socially distanced.
Participation is limited to no more than 5O persons per host site.
Wear your mask at all times inside stores except when seated or tasting your sample.

Located just across the river from the shops, restaurants, attractions and services along scenic Beach Street, the popular Farmers’ Market is open this Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the City Island parking lot next to Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The Farmers’ Market is a “must-see” if you love fresh and organic fruits and vegetables, baked goods, seafood and local food.

Ormond Beach Live Original Music & Art Festival
On October 5th, attend the event is the largest music festival held in Ormond Beach, which will feature 13 stages and consist of over 100 local and regional based acts comprising mostly of Rock, Folk, Jazz, and Country music. In addition to the live music featured at the festival, the event will also feature over 40 artist display booths, various trade booths, food court, beer garden, and a kid zone. The Tortugas games are always a great time for baseball lovers.
The Daytona Tortugas returned home on Monday, August 12, to Jackie Robinson Ballpark for a four-game series. Among the highlights of the set is a Taste of Daytona Night on Monday, a Silver Slugger Night on Tuesday, a Wishful Wednesday and Bark in the Park Night, and another Bud Light Thirsty Thursday.
The series wraps up on August 15 and fans are encouraged to come out and be a part of the biggest party in Central Florida, as draft beers and fountain sodas can be purchased for just $1 all evening long. First pitch for the series’ finale is penciled in for 7:05 p.m.

MELBOURNE FOUNDERS FESTIVAL – May 24 – 26
The 2019 Melbourne Founders Festival (previously known as The Crane Creek Founders Heritage Festival) is your opportunity to connect with individuals interested and excited about the Culture, History, and Artistry of Melbourne, Florida. The Festival will be held near the banks of Crane Creek (corner of Prospect Ave. and Stone St.) on a lush green field with palms and native trees.
This year’s festivities will begin Friday, May 24th at 7 PM with a reception at the Back Center (2222 S. Harbor City Blvd. in Melbourne, Fl 32901) that includes (renowned local artist) the Highwaymen and live entertainment.
On Saturday, May 25th from 11 AM to 7 PM, we will move within walking distance of the Melbourne’s Founders tiny house near Crane Creek built in 1884. There the focus will be on the three Black freedmen: Wright Brothers, Peter Wright and Balaam Allen the first to settle here shortly after the civil war. We will also present live musical entertainment, local food favorites, merchandise vendors, artist displays, inflatable bounce houses, interactive robotic demonstrations, flight simulator, and the ever-popular Historical Wall.
On Sunday, May 26th from 2 PM to 7 PM the Festival will culminate with live gospel music from local and national recording artists, and our many vendors will return from Saturday with their goods.
Each year the Greater Allen Development Corporation and local volunteers from the Melbourne community, present our annual festival as an opportunity to not only entertain visitors of all ages, races, and genders but also to spread education about African American heritage that led to the foundation of Melbourne, FL.

Attention Kaleb Lee Fans! He has a show this month in Victory Circle at the One Daytona venue. If you do not know Kaleb, he is a resident of Ormond Beach and was a contestant on The Voice in season 14. Kids in The Kitchen-Junior League of South Brevard
Kids in the Kitchen, hosted by the Junior League of South Brevard, is grounded in the belief that children and families empowered with the knowledge of how to feed and exercise their bodies will be less likely to become obese and subsequently suffer the many associated health risks.
This year the Junior League of South Brevard is excited to bring Kids in the Kitchen to the Wickham Park Community Center on Saturday, April 13th from 10 am to 1 pm.
