What’s Happening This Weekend Around Work Webb
There is a lot happening in December as everyone gets ready to celebrate the holidays and there is a great event this weekend going on in Downtown Daytona Beach. The first ever Dog Film Festival is coming to Daytona! This Sunday, December 17th from 2 – 6 pm at the Cinematique of Daytona located at 242 South Beach Street, Daytona Beach, Fl 32114.
This event will be a philanthropic celebration of the love between dogs and people, made possible by a grant from the non-profit Petco Foundation. The Dog Film Festival supports a local life-saving shelter in every location it travels too, and Sophie’s Circle is the local shelter here in Daytona Beach where a portion of every ticket will be donated. Learn more about this heart-warming shelter here.
This event is perfect for dog lovers of all ages. There will two programs each featuring a different medley of live-action short canine-themed films from around the world. For more information on showtimes and tickets, please visit Cinematique’s website here.
All attendees will receive a gift bag compliments of Brownie’s Dog Boutique, and a 50/50 raffle will be held to help fund a public park in memory of the town dog, Brownie. This event is the perfect event to enjoy while taking a break from holiday preparations.
