Friday, come celebrate Jackie Robinson’s 100th Birthday and our amazing community youth with the Daytona Tortugas Professional Baseball team. Area youth will be honored on the field and during a dinner for their perseverance and life achievements in the face of hardships. Youth to sing the National Anthem and host the color guard. Lagoonacy
This Saturday, don’t miss a celebration of the insanely fascinating and beautiful Indian River Lagoon! Join for a day of fun, food, and festivities experienced through Art and Marine Discovery at Lagoonacy.
The annual spring fundraising event is hosted by Marine Discovery Center and Artists’ Workshop, Inc. and includes an array of activities such as kayaking, face painting, arts & crafts, conservation carnival, prize drawings, live mermaids, and our exciting Cardboard Boat Race at Lagoonacy!
Also featured at the event is a great selection of local vendors, food trucks, beer, and much more.

Kids in The Kitchen-Junior League of South Brevard
Kids in the Kitchen, hosted by the Junior League of South Brevard, is grounded in the belief that children and families empowered with the knowledge of how to feed and exercise their bodies will be less likely to become obese and subsequently suffer the many associated health risks.
This year the Junior League of South Brevard is excited to bring Kids in the Kitchen to the Wickham Park Community Center on Saturday, April 13th from 10 am to 1 pm.
This event is geared towards children aged 4-11 and their families and it completely FREE for all to attend!
This year KITK will feature over 35 interactive tables in an expo-style setting featuring healthy foods and cooking demonstrations, healthy wellness activities, and educational information on health and safety. All of the vendors are local to our Space Coast community and are excited to bring information about health and wellness to the youth and families in Melbourne!

Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile
2019 is the 33rd annual running of the Space Coast Classic. The race benefits The Children’s Hunger Project and Quest Elementary.
