Spring is in the air! As we officially say goodbye to Winter, to celebrate, there are some fun events in Melbourne this weekend!
Yoga Outside the Lines: The Art of Flowing
Are you a yogi who loves to draw! On Saturday March 23rd, here is a fun event for you! Yoga and Drawing allow you to slip into this zone of simultaneous concentration and relaxation. They are both active meditation and a contemplation practices. When explored in tandem, yoga and drawing will take you to new realms. Jr. Brick Builders (Ages 12 & Under)
Grab your kids and show off your brick building skills at the monthly Jr. Brick Builders club! Every month we have a new building competition and prizes for the winners! This event on March 23rd is perfect for ages 12 and under and all materials provided. The theme for March is Cars & Trucks and will be held at the Brevard County’s Franklin T DeGroodt Memorial Library. Downtown Melbourne 5K Run and Walk
Attention Wizards, Sorcerers & Friends! On Saturday, March 23rd, it’s time to bust out your running shoes, your finest house colors, and maybe brush up your best spells for the Downtown Melbourne’s Harry Potter-themed 5K Run/Walk!! The magic happens when a community comes together to support each other! This is the 37th Anniversary of the Downtown Melbourne 5K Run and Walk. A Space Coast Runners’ Runner of the Year Event is a run for the children and the last race in the 2019 Run for the Kids Race Series. Proceeds benefit – The Haven – a shelter for abused, abandoned and neglected children. For more information and to sign up here!
