What’s Happening at Work Webb
This Saturday and Sunday, March 24th and 25, is the 9th Annual Halifax Oyster Jam Music Festival! This festival helps raise awareness of the essential role oysters play in keeping our waterways and ecosystem healthy while restoring the local oyster population. Besides lots of oysters, liquid refreshments and other food options, the 2018 Halifax Oyster Jam Music Festival will feature lots of great live entertainment. All of the oyster shells are collected after the festival and given to the Marine Discovery Center who in turn, make oyster mats that are placed in local waterways to start new oyster beds. Drink some beer, shuck your oysters and listen to live music to support this worthy cause. The party starts at 11 am and continues to 7 pm on City Island on the Intracoastal Waterway in Downtown Daytona Beach, FL. Admission is $8 a person at the gate, children under 12 enter free.
